John joined Novotech in January 2014 to lead the development of Novotech’s Asia operations. Prior to Novotech John was Managing Director of IVF Australia and Queensland Fertility Group and sat on the Board of the parent company Virtus Health. John was previously a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group and Partners in Performance specialising in supporting private equity transactions and implementing growth and operational improvement initiatives. John is a medical doctor by training.
With a career spanning senior financial positions with a number of multinational organizations, both in North America and Australasia, Brad joined Novotech as CFO in 2006, later becoming a director in 2009. Brad began his career as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and has extensive experience in leading corporate finance teams across the professional services, investment banking, transportation and entertainment industries.
Veronica joined Novotech in May 2014 to formalise the legal function at Novotech. Prior to Novotech, Veronica held roles as Senior Legal Counsel at EY, Senior Solicitor at Clayton Utz and General Counsel (on secondment) at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Australia Pty Limited. Veronica has a broad range of legal experience encompassing commercial, corporate, litigation, regulatory and compliance and specialises in working in highly regulated environments. Veronica holds a BA/LLB/LLM.
Executive Director, Asia Operations
Dr. Kim is responsible for overseeing Novotech’s operations and project delivery within the Asia region. Prior to joining Novotech, Dr. Kim worked at PRA Health Sciences as Director of Operations for North Asia. Dr. Kim is very experienced in Asia’s drug development industry, having managed operations for South Korea, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Japan. She has also worked at various positions in clinical development, medical affairs, and pharmacovigilance at GSK. Dr. Kim has spoken widely regarding the current landscape of clinical development in Asia. Dr. Kim has pharmacist background and received doctorate degree of medicine from Seoul National University, specializing in Preventive Medicine and Epidemiology.
Executive Director, Clinical Operations
Lynda joined Novotech in 2006 as Executive Director of Clinical Operations and has supported the company's considerable growth into the ANZ and Asia region. Previously, Lynda held senior and regional management positions in clinical research at Covance, based in Australia, and Serono (now Merck Serono) based in Switzerland. Lynda holds a BSc and MPH (Health Economics).
Andries joined Novotech in September 2008 and has lead Biometrics operations since January 2016. Andries has 15 years’ experience in Clinical Research as Clinical Database Programmer at Quintiles, Manager, Clinical Data Management at Quintiles and Clinical Data Manager in Quality, Training and Development at Eli Lilly Australia. He has in depth experience with database design and study management in Endocrine, various Oncology studies, Urology, Pain and Thyroid disease - from Phase I to Phase IV and Post-marketing studies. Andries has a track record of meeting all study milestones.
Director, Medical Services
Radha joined Novotech in April 2007 and held a number of senior project management positions. Radha leads Medical Services at Novotech, driving the company's business strategy in medical monitoring, medical writing, pharmacovigilance and central laboratory. Radha comes from a strong academic background in physiology, neuroendocrinology and drug development with postdoctoral experience in neuroendocrinology and respiratory medicine.
Director, Quality Assurance
Kim joined Novotech in 2002 and is responsible for overseeing Novotech’s Quality Management System. Kim began her clinical research career working for number of pharmaceutical companies. She has over 19 years experience in clinical research across a wide range of therapeutic and functional areas; including site management and monitoring, project management, regulatory affairs and quality assurance. Kim has a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science.
Director, Human Resources
Angela joined Novotech in November 2015 and is responsible for Novotech's Human Resources operations including strategy, organisational development, remuneration & reward and workplace health and safety. Prior to joining Novotech, Angela’s HR experience spans more than 20 years predominately in the life science industry and also more recently with a high growth on-line education business. Angela is passionate about delivering Novotech's vision of being the leading CRO in the Asia Pacific region, for both clients and employees.
